Significant energy surpluses

In Canada, particularly in Ontario and Alberta, large energy surpluses exist and are now being put to use by mining farms.

These provinces want bitcoin mining to buy the energy lost due to high electrification costs.

At Startmining, we met the local producers and reached an agreement for a first MW of mining. This power, cut off from the electrical grid, provides full resilience in the event of a global geopolitical conflict.

Low temperatures

The highlands of the North-Eastern Canadian provinces allow free-cooling all year round. For this reason, our agreements guarantee a minimum uptime of 95%.

The natural cold captured inside the mine achieves a PUE of 3% to 5%, translating into significant energy savings and extended hardware lifespan.

Repair center

The huge advantage of this 20 MW site is that it has a repair center. Thanks to it, in addition to maintenance, we handle so-called "heavy" repairs such as hashboard replacement and component soldering.

This strategic location is designed to spare miners (ASICs) from prolonged downtime. It lets them keep running as long as possible, thereby increasing their profitability.
